IWC marked the Ingenieur SL's 50th birthday with two limited-edition releases, an anniversary nod to the model Gérald Genta designed back in 1976. Half a century on, from the marina at Palm Beach to the bar at the Breakers, the SL's steel-and-bracelet silhouette is still the one collectors point to first when they explain what an integrated sport watch is supposed to look like.
