Amanda Seyfried Trades the Hollywood Hills for a Patch of Upstate Dirt

Amanda Seyfried has listed her Hollywood Hills home for $3.2 million, a number that would barely buy a decent lot on this coast. The "Mean Girls" star isn't sticking around to negotiate in person, either — she's already resettled on a farm in upstate New York. It is the kind of swap that makes sense down here, where plenty of us have learned that a view of pasture beats a view of a canyon. Palm Beach trades up, Naples trades quiet, and apparently Seyfried just traded the whole idea of a backlot for one.
