Aston Martin Builds Its First Motorcycle, and There Are Fewer of Them Than Members at a Good Naples Club
Aston Martin has never made a street-legal motorcycle before now, and it is treating the debut with the restraint you would expect from a marque that still thinks of itself as rare: just 300 will exist. The bike marks the automaker's third collaboration with British marque Brough Superior, a partnership evidently trusted enough to be handed the job a third time. Three hundred is a number that means something different depending on where in Florida you are standing. In Miami it reads as a challenge. In Naples it reads as a guest list. Palm Beach, characteristically, will pretend not to have noticed the announcement at all, right up until someone's grandson has one parked next to the golf cart.
