Essence, All 269 Feet of It, Would Not Fit Anywhere in Florida Quietly

ISA has launched its newest superyacht, christened Essence, the third hull in the builder's Large Yacht collection and, at 269 feet, not a boat that slips into a marina unnoticed. It carries a touch-and-go helipad, a real one, built for an aircraft to land and lift off again rather than just perch for show, and a glass-bottomed pool that turns the ocean itself into part of the deck. Where a vessel like this would sit best is the kind of question that separates the coasts: Fort Lauderdale has the dock space for it, Palm Beach has the discretion, and Miami would simply enjoy watching it arrive. For now Essence belongs to no port in particular, which may be the most Florida thing about a yacht that hasn't gotten here yet.
