Florida's Grand Hotels Would Rather You Just Move In for the Holidays

The five-star set is done doing weekend guests over Christmas and New Year's. Properties in this category are lengthening their required minimum stays for the holiday season, meaning the old three-night booking simply will not hold a room anymore. It is less an inconvenience than a signal: these rooms are in enough demand that the house gets to set the terms.
