The American SetThe New Basil Hayden Won't Sit on a Florida Shelf for Long
Jim Beam is putting out a new Basil Hayden bourbon finished in Cognac casks that spent a quarter century aging Cognac before a drop of whiskey ever touched them. It's a limited release, full stop, which around here means one thing: it moves fast, and not everyone gets a bottle. Naples collectors and Palm Beach hosts know the drill — call the shop, ask what's held back, don't wait until the weekend. Miami, characteristically, will just find a case.
