Palm Beach's Goofiest Nickname Just Got a $105 Million Price Tag
Somewhere along Billionaire's Row, the actual name of this landmarked estate stopped mattering. Locals settled on "Ham and Cheese House" instead, and it stuck hard enough to outlast whatever the deed says. That's the trade on this stretch of Palm Beach: houses can be historic, oceanfront, tunnel-equipped, and still get known by a sandwich. This one is all three of the first — landmark status, the address, and a private passage down to the beach — now asking $105 million. The name isn't going anywhere. Neither, it seems, is the price.
