Breitling has opened a made-to-order version of its Super Chronomat, drawn up to sit alongside the Aston Martin Valhalla, and the invitation goes only to people who already have the car in the garage. The idea is a single wrist piece shaped to answer one specific machine, rather than a catalog model that happens to look good near it. Between Palm Beach and Naples, that is the sort of pairing noticed quietly across a valet line, while in Miami it gets noticed from the next lane over. Owning the car is the entire ticket, which makes for a shorter guest list than this coast is used to.
