Green Hills Runs the Schools, Belle Meade Just Zones Them

Metro Nashville Public Schools' chief operating officer, Maura Black Sullivan, is stepping down October 15 for a new post as chief administrative officer of Shelby County Government. The move takes an operations veteran from one of the region's largest public systems to Memphis's county government. Her last day in the district closes out this chapter of a career built inside Nashville's civic machinery.
