In Green Hills, the Tribute Isn't for the Charts — It's for the Room

Nashville Musicians Association, AFM Local 257, is staging its fourth annual "For Those We Lost" concert, honoring musicians the community said goodbye to over the past year. It's the kind of night that never makes the charts but fills the room anyway — union hall as sanctuary, the working players who backed the records turning out for each other. This is Nashville's actual industry, the side Green Hills has always claimed and Belle Meade never needed to.
