The Real Shortage in Nashville's School Yards Isn't Talent

Metro Nashville's bus drivers are the ones who show up before the sun and get every kid to Green Hills, Belle Meade, and everywhere between, and this week they said plainly what it takes to keep doing it: better pay, enough staff, buses that don't turn into ovens, and the basic supplies the job requires. It's a modest ask from people who move this city's children daily, and worth taking seriously.
