Before "650" reaches anyone else, Wyatt McCubbin brought it to the street where Nashville's music business actually gets done. He stopped by the MusicRow office himself to preview the record, an artist choosing to let the industry hear it in person rather than through a press release. The album, his debut, now carries a title and a first audience among the people who cover this town for a living. It is the kind of quiet, working-street debut that never happens in Belle Meade.

With reporting from MusicRow.
