Flying magazine is nearing its hundredth year in print, and it says the mission hasn't moved: serve the pilots who read it, not merely mark the anniversary. For an ownership community that has largely grown up with the title in hand, that's the notable part — continuity of readership over that many decades is rarer than the number of issues published. The magazine describes the milestone as a check-in on what its readers need next, not a victory lap.
