Before the FEMA Call, the Same Checklist Every Owner Runs

A Civil Air Patrol Cessna 182 sits at run-up — engine at speed, controls cycling through their sweep — ahead of a sortie flown in support of FEMA. It is the same sequence any owner-flown airplane completes before a dispatch: magnetos checked, prop cycled, flight controls confirmed free before the throttle comes back for taxi. The aircraft is a piston single, not a jet, and the mission is federal tasking rather than a personal cross-country, but the discipline at the runway's edge doesn't change with the tail number. Nothing moves until the checklist says it does.
