CitationJet Owners Get an FAA-Certified Path to a Full Garmin Panel

Textron has secured FAA supplemental type certification for an all-Garmin avionics retrofit for the CitationJet line, the company confirmed as the upgrade became available. The STC covers a full panel swap rather than a partial one, giving owners of older CitationJets a certified route to bring the cockpit up to current Garmin standards without changing airframes. For owners who fly these jets themselves, that means modern integrated avionics can now be added to an existing airplane rather than requiring a trade for a newer model.
