Wayfarer is flight-testing the concept on a one-third-scale Cessna 182 demonstrator built for the NASA-backed program. The retrofit uses electric propellers that blow air across the wing and retract, rather than remaining fixed in the airstream. Running the setup at reduced scale lets the team validate the blown-wing configuration on an airframe modeled on the production 182.
