The FAA has put up an online tool that tells a pilot whether a given medication is acceptable for flying and how long to wait after taking it before acting as pilot in command. For the owner who flies the aircraft personally under Part 91 rather than handing it to a crew, that is a question that lands squarely on the person holding the certificate. The answer now comes from the regulator itself, in one place, covering both the drug and the required interval.
