Rotax Flags Turbo Defect on 915, 916 Engines: Check Before You Fly

Rotax has issued an alert service bulletin covering certain 915 and 916 series turbocharged engines, ordering owners to replace a part before the next flight. The bulletin follows a manufacturing defect traced to an outside supplier, one that has been linked to the possibility of a fire in the engine compartment.
