Textron Aviation and Merlin have unveiled a concept variant of the SkyCourier designed to fly with no crew on board. The uncrewed version is built to carry about 6,000 pounds, comparable to the payload class the twin-engine SkyCourier already handles on crewed cargo and utility routes. This variant is aimed specifically at military logistics missions rather than the commercial work the standard aircraft performs. No certification timeline or delivery date was disclosed.
