TSA Brings Industry to the Table on Drone Security Rules
The Transportation Security Administration will convene closed-door sessions with aviation industry representatives to help draft model security programs for expanded beyond-visual-line-of-sight drone operations. The arrangement gives operators and manufacturers direct input into the security framework before wider BVLOS flight is cleared. It extends the same consultative relationship that has long shaped manned-aircraft security rules into a sector now angling for routine access to the airspace private aircraft already share.
