The 2026 Elantra Hybrid Makes Its Case at the Window Sticker, Not the Apex

· 1 min read

Car and Driver's test of the 2026 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid found it priced below its closest hybrid-sedan rivals, a straightforward value edge for buyers watching the bottom line. The tradeoff, per that test, is on the driving side: the Elantra gives up some of the spirited feel that competitors offer. For an owner shopping this class primarily on the sticker, the math still favors the Hyundai.
