The American Set2027 Corvette Lineup Debuts New 6.7-Liter LS6 V8 Across Every Trim
Chevrolet's next Corvette generation arrives with a fresh engine at its center: a 6.7-liter LS6 V8, offered across the full 2027 lineup. The base Stingray carries 535 horsepower, giving buyers a genuine V8 entry point into the marque. The Grand Sport is tuned as the track-focused variant, built for drivers who want the car sharpened for lap work rather than daily comfort. At the top sits the Grand Sport X, pairing the LS6 with electric all-wheel-drive for a combined 721 horsepower, the most powerful pairing in the new range. The lineup gives collectors three distinct paths into the same platform: entry, track, and flagship performance, all built around the same American V8.
