The 2027 Mini Countryman Untamed Edition Is Built to Leave the Pavement
Mini has added a new version of its largest model, the Countryman, for the 2027 model year, and this one is set up for rougher ground than the standard car. The Untamed Edition rides higher on raised suspension and wears tires with tread meant for dirt and gravel rather than only asphalt. For an owner who keeps a Mini in Aspen or the Colorado high country, the change means the ranch road and the trailhead are now within reach of the same car. Road & Track has driven it and reports that it goes a bit beyond where the ordinary Countryman would stop.
