2027 Silverado's Bigger Tank Puts 900 Miles Between Fuel Stops

· 1 min read

Chevrolet has fitted the 2027 Silverado's 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel with an enlarged 34-gallon fuel tank, pushing total range past 900 miles on a single fill. For owners who tow or simply cover long distances, that is the difference between planning a trip around fuel stops and not thinking about fuel at all. It is a straightforward upgrade, more tank for more miles, aimed squarely at the diesel pickup buyer's core demand: go farther before you have to stop.
