Air-Cooled Icon With a Jordan Pedigree Crosses the Block on Bring a Trailer

· 1 min read

A Porsche 911 Turbo S from the final air-cooled generation has surfaced on Bring a Trailer, and collectors are taking note of its company: the car is described as a near-twin to the 911 once owned by Michael Jordan. For marque purists, the air-cooled Turbo S represents the last word before Porsche moved to water-cooled flat-sixes, making any well-documented example a point of interest on its own. The Jordan connection only sharpens the provenance conversation already underway among bidders.
