The Best Drive Is to a Place Nobody Has Found Yet

Road & Track makes the case that an empty place has a short window between the day someone sees what it could be and the day the rest of the world moves in. For an owner, that window is the reason to take the car out. It means an unmarked road, a view with nobody else at it, and a destination you reached before it had a name. Whether that is a back road in Colorado or a quiet stretch of Florida coast, the advice for the collector is simple: go while it is still quiet.
