Chevrolet Puts the V-8 Behind the Driver in Its Grand Sport

Chevrolet's 2027 Corvette Grand Sport now carries its V-8 in a mid-engine layout, with a new 6.7-liter unit installed behind the seats. Car and Driver, which put the car through a road test, named the Grand Sport the standout of the current Corvette range, the trim it considers just right for the lineup. The magazine reports the larger engine gives the car noticeably more to recommend it than the versions that came before.
