As the 2026 model year rolls onto lots across the country, a number of 2025 models remain parked and unsold at dealerships, and that leftover inventory has put buyers in an unusually strong position. Dealers eager to clear space for incoming stock are motivated to move these cars quickly, which typically means room to negotiate. For collectors and everyday buyers alike, a lightly aged model year is often the same car for meaningfully less.
