Decades Out Front: Subaru's Long Hold on America's Premier Rally Class

· 1 min read

Subaru has been the marque to beat in the highest tier of American rally competition for decades. Road & Track put a writer in the right-hand seat of the brand's top-category car, the seat where the navigator calls the stages, and says the view from there explains the record. We have not ridden in the car ourselves. For readers who follow the marque, and for those who keep its road cars, it is a reminder that Subaru's reputation in this country was earned on the stages, over many seasons.

With reporting from Road & Track.
