eBay Closes the Aisle Where Airbags Changed Hands

Starting Thursday, eBay will no longer allow airbags or airbag inflators to be listed for sale on its marketplace, whether the seller is an individual or a company. The prohibition applies across the platform, with no separate allowance for private listings or dealer accounts. For owners and shops that have used the site to source these components, the change removes a marketplace where such parts had previously changed hands.
