The Electric Tiguan Is Headed for American Driveways

· 1 min read

The car that replaces Volkswagen's ID.4 now has a name, and the automaker has confirmed it: ID. Tiguan. It will be the first Tiguan powered by electricity alone. European buyers get it first, beginning early next year, and the car is expected to reach the United States after that, though no American date has been given. For owners who already know the Tiguan badge, the name they recognize is coming to a battery-powered Volkswagen.
