A Ferrari Michael Jordan Drove to Work in Chicago Brings a Record $2.7 Million

· 1 min read

Michael Jordan's Ferrari 550 Maranello has sold for $2.7 million, a record figure. Jordan drove the car rather than storing it, putting upwards of six thousand miles on the odometer while it was his. Many of those miles came on the trips between home and his games in Chicago. That is the part collectors will notice. The car was used for the commute of one of the most celebrated athletes the country has produced, and the buyer valued that history at a record price.
