Fiat's Littlest EV Gets a Barchetta Makeover
An Italian design house has taken Fiat's smallest electric car, the Topolino, and turned it into a racing barchetta, swapping its city-runabout shape for the low, open-top profile that name implies. The reworked version keeps the original's compact footprint but points it toward the track rather than the sidewalk. It reads as playful rather than serious, closer to a spirited go-kart than a proper sports car, but the ambition behind the redesign is real. For a car built to be small, it is a striking way to prove smallness and speed are not opposites.
