Ford Brings Its Works Effort Back to the World Rally Championship for 2028

· 1 min read

Ford will come back to the World Rally Championship in 2028, and this time it will run the effort itself as a manufacturer-backed works entry. The company already races in Formula 1, NASCAR, the World Endurance Championship, and the Dakar. Rally will be its fifth series, so the same badge will appear on open-wheel grids, stock car ovals, endurance prototypes, desert raid machines, and gravel stages. For American owners and collectors who follow the Blue Oval, the news means one of the country's own marques is adding another major international championship to its program.
