Ford has set a starting price of $29,945 for its upcoming Fathom, a compact electric truck aimed at buyers who want a battery-powered pickup without the premium sticker of larger EV trucks on the market. The truck is slated to reach dealerships sometime in 2027, giving Ford roughly a year to finalize production before it lands in driveways. For a segment that has skewed toward six-figure flagship trucks, a sub-$30,000 starting point marks a notable entry point for the compact class.
