Ford's Ranger Raptor Makes a Case for Range of Talent Over Range Per Tank

· 1 min read

Car and Driver's long-term 2026 Ford Ranger Raptor has now logged 20,000 miles in the magazine's fleet, and the mid-size off-roader is holding up as the kind of truck that does a little of everything well. The editors report it remains a genuinely fun, versatile companion for daily duty and trail work alike. Their one real complaint after all those miles is fuel economy, which they describe as pitiful for the segment. Otherwise, the Raptor keeps earning its keep as a multitool on wheels.

With reporting from Car and Driver.
