Ford's Secret V-10 Mustang Finally Comes Out of Hiding
Ford's Heritage Fleet has revived a one-off 1999 Mustang GT built around a ten-cylinder engine, a car the company nicknamed the "Boss 351" and kept out of sight of its own accountants for years. By Ford's account, the V-10 still delivers real muscle behind the wheel today. It stands as a rare look at what Ford's engineers were willing to build under the Mustang name without ever asking for a budget sign-off.
