The Four-Door Camaro Enthusiasts Wanted Never Existed

A spy shot purporting to show Chevrolet testing a four-door Camaro sedan circulated widely among enthusiasts this week, prompting real excitement over a body style General Motors has never built for the nameplate. The image is not authentic. No such test mule exists, and the photo does not depict genuine engineering work on a sedan variant of the Camaro. The appetite for the image says as much about how attached collectors and owners remain to the Camaro badge as it does about the photo itself.
