Hyundai Redraws the Tucson for 2027, With a Reworked Hybrid Underneath

Hyundai has redesigned the Tucson from the ground up for the 2027 model year, and the change shows from the curb: the new body has heavier shoulders and a more muscular shape. Under that sheetmetal, the gasoline-electric powertrain has also been revised. Some owners want one vehicle that suits a Colorado trailhead as well as a Naples school run, and a tougher-looking body paired with a refreshed hybrid speaks to them. We have not driven it.
