Laptop in Hand, Tuners Still Chase the Same Thing: Better Breathing

Performance tuning now runs largely through software, and the people chasing more horsepower do much of their work on a screen instead of at the bench. The goal hasn't changed. Getting more power still depends on how well an engine moves air in and out. For owners in our garages who care about how their cars are built, that is the part worth noticing: the tools are new, but the principle behind them is the one that has always made an engine run stronger.
