This Lotus Elise Restomod Charges a Premium for Losing Weight
Analogue Automotive has built its take on the Lotus Elise, a car called the VHPK, engineered around the same low-mass, driver-first formula that made the original Elise a favorite among purists. The company positions it as the fullest realization of that Elise ethos, built rather than merely restored. That ambition comes at a cost far beyond what the donor car ever asked: the lighter the VHPK gets, the more it costs to own.
