Mazda's Sportiest Badge May Be Going Electric, Trademark Filing Suggests

Mazda has filed to trademark the name "MX-6e" in multiple countries, according to filing records. The company has generally reserved its "MX" prefix for its sportier models, and the "e" suffix points toward a battery-electric version. Mazda has not confirmed what, if anything, the filing will become, and no vehicle has been announced.
