Mercedes-AMG Draws the Line at 30: Inside the 637-HP CLE Spezialanfertigung

Mercedes-AMG has confirmed a new limited edition of its CLE coupe, the CLE 646 Spezialanfertigung, built around a 637-horsepower V-8 and capped at just 30 examples. The automaker has stopped short of applying the Black Series name to the car, even as the specification reads like one in every respect that matters to a serious AMG buyer. For collectors who track the marque's rarest V-8 output, a production run this tight places the CLE 646 alongside AMG's most sought-after limited builds. Allocation for a run this small will be the story to watch.
