New Chevy and GMC Half-Tons Set for Fresh Small-Block V-8 Power This Year

General Motors has released the output figures for its next generation of small-block V-8s, a pair of engines displacing 5.7 and 6.6 liters. The two will go under the hood of the redesigned light-duty Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups. GM expects both trucks to reach dealers later this year.
