Mercedes-Benz will not carry four nameplates into its 2027 model year. They are the EQE sedan, sold under both the Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG badges, the Mercedes-AMG S63 sedan and the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV. Anyone who already has one of these in the garage now owns one of the closing examples of its line. The four come from three of the marque's houses, Mercedes-Benz, AMG and Maybach, so the change touches nearly every part of the brand. Owners and collectors keep track of moments like this one.
