Porsche Gives the Mission S a Tachometer You Can Watch Sweep

· 1 min read

The Mission S, Porsche's new supercar, carries a physical needle for its rev counter. That sets it apart from the rest of the current Porsche lineup, where instrument panels are rendered entirely on screens. For the owner behind the wheel, it means engine speed is read the old way, by a pointer moving across a dial rather than a number redrawn in pixels. It is a small decision on a very fast car, and the kind of detail collectors in Naples and Palm Beach tend to notice first.

With reporting from The Drive.
