Ram Reverses Course: A Diesel Finally Reaches the Power Wagon

For years, Ram held the line that its diesel powertrain and the Power Wagon, the brand's dedicated heavy-duty off-road pickup, would not be paired. That stance has now given way. The diesel engine is available as an option on the Power Wagon, putting real trail hardware behind a drivetrain long reserved for other trucks in the lineup. Car and Driver got behind the wheel to see how the combination performs.
