The Raptor's Engine Is Headed for the Rest of the Bronco Lineup
Ford is bringing the twin-turbocharged V-6 that powers the Bronco Raptor to the standard Bronco for the 2027 model year. Buyers who choose a regular Bronco over the Raptor will get that engine in a milder state of tune. The figure for the ordinary Bronco is 380 horsepower. The Raptor keeps its 414. For anyone who has admired the Raptor's engine room but wanted a Bronco with a lower profile, the gap between the two is now a matter of tuning rather than hardware. Collectors tracking model-year changes will want to note 2027 as the point at which the Raptor's engine stopped being exclusive to the top of the range.
