Renault Brings Back the 8 Gordini as a Rear-Wheel-Drive Electric Concept, 270 Horses Strong

· 1 min read

Renault has revived the 8 Gordini, one of the marque's most iconic sports sedans, as an all-electric concept making 270 horsepower. The concept holds onto the nameplate's rear-wheel-drive character, carrying that layout forward into a battery-powered form. Rather than retiring the name or folding it into a new model line, Renault has chosen to reimagine it directly for the electric age. For a badge built around a sports sedan, keeping the drive wheels at the rear is the detail collectors will notice first.
