Rivian Plans Teen and Valet Modes for Early 2027 to Keep 1,025 Horsepower in Check

· 1 min read

Rivian will add Teen Mode and Valet Mode to its vehicles in early 2027, according to the company's head of software. The reason is simple: a young driver doesn't need a four-figure horsepower rating or the most serious off-road settings. For families from Aspen to Naples, that means the vehicle can be handed over with limits already in place.

With reporting from The Drive.
